Hello, my name is Edward Vega, founder of Canadian Blueprint, where we provide building permit drawings to homeowners, business owners, contractors, and engineers. Today's topic, how to get started with a building permit. I'll guide you on the steps on how to get started with a building permit for each of the following project types: home renovations, new custom homes, and business building permit. better known as tenant improvement and it's often abbreviated as TI. We'll cover as-built measuring and how it

pertains to your project. And finally, we'll go over the five frequently most asked questions. I do want to mention we have a table of contents that allows you to jump right into the section that interests you the most as some of these steps repeat across different project types, but they are crucial and cannot be overlooked. Another thing I'll mention is I use the word city a lot, but the same process applies to townships and municipality. So, if you're into these topics, stick around. Zoning and building codes are

not an easy feat. The building code alone are two binders 4" thick. But if you ask a carpenter, he's going to say it's only three and a half. Don't try to tackle this on your own. Leave it to the experts. We offer a feasibility study for every project because each one is unique and needs to have an a tailored approach. Whether you're homeowner, business owner, or contractor, we're here to make sure your project runs smoothly from start to finish. And if you have any questions

specific to your project, or want to learn more about our process, feel free to reach out by phone, email, or send us a text to the number on the screen.
