Why am I required to provide an address in the contact form?

Project location is essential information as many aspects of our feasibility assessment depend on local zoning bylaws and building codes, which vary by municipality. Without a project address, we cannot accurately evaluate your project's requirements and constraints.

Why am I required to provide a phone number in the contact form?

Sometimes emails go to junk/spam folders or don't arrive. If we don't receive a reply to our email, we'll follow up with a phone call to ensure you received our response. This helps us maintain communication and keeps your project moving forward without unnecessary delays.

Why am I required to provide an email address in the contact form?

An email address is necessary because we need to share documentation such as design drafts, permit requirements, and other project files with you. Additionally, email provides both of us with a written record of our communications and project details.

What happens after I submit the contact form?

After you submit the contact form, our team reviews your information and assigns a specialist best suited to your project type. You'll receive an initial response within one business day, typically including some preliminary feedback on your project's feasibility and either a request for more information or suggestions for next steps.

We typically respond to emails the same day they are received. If you email us outside of our business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM), you can expect a response the next business day.

Do you offer in-office appointments?

We operate primarily through virtual channels to maintain competitive pricing for our clients. By utilizing a streamlined business model, we're able to reduce overhead costs and pass those savings directly to you through more competitive quotes. Our focus is on delivering exceptional value while keeping your project costs manageable.

Can you visit my home or business to assess my project?

Our process is designed to maximize efficiency and value for our clients. For Renovation or tenant improvement projects, we first require either the Original Drawings or we'll schedule a professional site visit specifically to create accurate as-built drawings. With these materials in hand, we conduct detailed consultations via phone or virtual meetings where we can discuss your project thoroughly. For New Custom Homes, we conduct all consultations through online meetings and email communication, allowing us to efficiently share drafts, make revisions, and keep your project moving forward without unnecessary delays.

Over $50,000 Construction Value	$764.40	Rates continue to decrease for higher values.
Damage Deposit (Residential)
Required for most construction/demolition.	$1,024	Refundable. Increases for projects over $600k.
Demolition Permit
Fee is based on the cost of the demolition work itself.	Calculated using Building Permit rates	e.g., A demolition cost of $15,000 has a fee of $277.90
Permit Application Fee (Upfront)
Paid for all building permits at time of application.	50% of total fee for projects up to $200k	Percentage decreases for higher value projects.
Plumbing Permit
For up to 4 fixtures.	$122.90	Plus $27.65 for each additional fixture.
Sign Permit
For signs not exceeding 1.86 m² (20 sq ft).	$30.72	Fee is $51.20 for larger signs.
Tree Removal Permit
Base application fee.	$179.20	Plus $76.80 per tree to be removed.
