White Rock Permit Drawings & Design

I am the proud owner of an old house in White Rock, BC. I am doing a major renovation to this old house. I have my ideas on the major renovation. Edward provided inputs during the design iteration process. During the White Rock building permit review process, we had to revise the drawings several times to meet White Rock's unique bylaws requirements. Edward and his team were very responsive and drawings were quickly revised. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of Edward's professional service. He and his team were very helpful and courteous. I have no hesitance in recommending him.

Edward and the design team from Canadian Blue Print assisted us with a building permit challenge. We were required by our city building permit department to obtain a permit for a minor renovation that the previous home owner did in 1987, before we bought the house in 2008. The 1987 building permit and blue prints for our house were destroyed in a fire at city hall in the 1990's. We were required to provide a full set of blue prints, for the entire house and obtain a building permit based on the current building code, all at our own expense. Edward and team were fantastic to deal with, guiding us through this complex process with great patience, outstanding communication skills and expertise. They went to great effort to help us understand the requirements of the structural engineer and find the best solutions to every challenge. We have obtained the building permit and are in the process of complying to the current building code requirements. I highly recommend Edward and the design team at Canadian Blue Print, they are true professionals.

Worked with Edward on a tight deadline to get new drawings done for a building we purchased. They helped submit to the city and made the process easier. Can't say the same thing for the city's processes on getting a business license, but Canadian Blueprint did a great job.
